You love your cat, don't you? You want your cat to be happy, right? Well, sick cats are rarely happy. If you'd like to contest that statement, name a time in your life when you were happy that you were sick (missing school or work doesn't count). You probably can't.
You probably remembered the times when you were deathly ill, limited to crawling around your bed as you were continuously wracked with violent fits of coughing. There were probably other less pleasant parts to the sickness, but the one thing you remember most about being sick was that you were miserable.
The same goes for your pet.
A sick pet is a miserable pet. No one wants to be sick, your pet included. Learn to take proper care of your pet's health, and they will reward you with love and loyalty. Otherwise, there will only be dark times ahead for you and your pet.
